The operation dubbed “Ingénieuses’22” aims to promote gender equality in science and technology and to encourage girls to pursue engineering studies and careers.
In 2022, as every year, “Ingénieuses” will recompense engineering schools with projects in favour of gender equality, as well as female students and engineers with a personal, academic and professional background.
In 2022, nine prizes will be awarded in different categories:
Five prizes for engineering schools, worth €500 apiece, to reward projects that promote diversity carried out by the institutions (at the initiative of management, staff, student associations, individual students or groups of students):
- one prize for the most committed school – administration category,
- one prize for the most committed school – school association category,
- one most original project prize,
- one special jury prize,
- one “Cap Ingénieuses” prize, awarded to a project that has received the label of the same name;
- one France female student/engineer prize, worth €1,000, to reward an engineering student attending a school accredited by the CTI, whose career path and commitment are examples for the youngest students;
- one Maghreb female student/engineer prize, worth €500, in addition to a trip to Paris to attend the awards ceremony, to reward an engineering student attending an engineering school that is a member of the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie in the Maghreb countries, and whose career and commitment are examples for the youngest students;
- two prizes for women engineers, worth €500 each, to reward two working female engineers, regardless of their age and experience, with inspiring personal, academic and professional backgrounds and who are able to become ambassadors of the engineering profession for young girls.
Applications must be submitted via the dedicated submission space on the Ingénieuses site up until Tuesday 8 March, 2022, i.e. the deadline for submission.
