Last week, during their staff week, Centrale Lille welcomed the partners of the Erasmus+ UnitEd for Global Goals project from Italy, Croatia, Portugal, Belgium and Greece. These partners are mostly public associations and bodies involved in vocational education and training. The UnitEd for Global Goals project focuses on knowledge sharing, systems and methods in place, and on inclusion actions to address the challenges faced by each European community and country to meet the following Sustainable Development Goals:

  • 7 – Affordable and clean energy
  • 11 – Sustainable cities and communities
  • 12 – Responsible consumption and production

This morning event was an opportunity to present our institution along with the “Cordées de la Réussite” scheme, the Geeks for Education project and the Fablab. These presentations prompted discussions on equal opportunities and inclusion methods enabling diverse audiences to gain access to quality training.

In fact, the Geeks for Education European project is into its final months, with the finalisation of the testing of teaching methods with lower and upper secondary schools, and will end with the final meeting to be held on 6 and 7 July 2023 in Centrale Lille.
