In the past few days, France’s blood supply levels have fallen below the safety threshold. While there has never been a shortage of blood in France to care for patients, particularly in the past two years of the health crisis, the French blood bank (EFS – Établissement Français du Sang) is now facing a critical situation, hence the publication of a “vital emergency bulletin” for the first time in its history.

In this context, on Monday 14 March, Centrale Lille will host a team from the EFS in room B-014 for the collection of blood.
