During their final year of study, ITEEM engineering students follow a so-called “profile”, or path, that concludes their training. The reform of the 4th and 5th years of studies carried out in 2019 led to the creation of three “Innovator”, “Entrepreneur” and “Project Manager” profiles. In the scope of the continuous improvement of training and 3 years of experimentation, the decision has been made to update some of these profiles.

The “Innovator” and “Entrepreneur” profiles will merge in the autumn of 2022 to create the “Entrepreneur-Innovator” profile. The “Project Manager” profile in which engineering students are mixed with SKEMA Business School students will continue. A new “Managing Engineer” profile will be created in September 2022 in the form of a teaching chair in collaboration with MC2I, a business partner of Centrale Lille.

ITEEM students who follow the new “Managing Engineer” profile will learn to understand the challenges of transformation (organisation, business models, digital transformation) in complex environments (ESG and regulatory requirements, respect for sovereignty issues, protection against cyber threats, etc.). They will also acquire fundamental skills in user experience management, continuous improvement, process optimisation, agile methods, quality approaches, change management, etc.

The creation of this new profile responds to both the new complexity of the economic and environmental challenges faced by industries, the skills needs expressed by companies and the aspirations of the young generations trained at ITEEM.
