As part of the visit by the Minister of Federal, European and International Affairs of North Rhine-Westphalia, last Thursday Centrale Lille hosted the visit of Dr. Holthoff-Pförtner, accompanied by Prof. Tessa Flatten, Vice-President for International Relations at the Technische Universität Dortmund, and Prof. Arkadiusz Mężyk rector of the Silesian Polytechnic School.
The purpose of this meeting was the future joint teaching module on innovation and design thinking between the three institutions. The meeting served to give an update on the implementation of this project, led by Benjamin Katryniok on the Central Lille side, which will be implemented for the first time in autumn 2022. This course will lead students from the three institutions to acquire and work together remotely on joint projects around Design Thinking techniques.
The delegation was pleased to discover the means and tools developed by the institution to stimulate creativity and encourage innovation among our students, in particular the Imagine space and the Centrale Lille FabLab.
