Thanks to his passion for acoustics and with a specialisation in signal processing and embedded AI, Pierre Guiu, a 2005 graduate of the École Centrale de Lille, co-founded Orosound in 2015. In 6 years, their company has become a recognised French player in the professional acoustics market with a 5% market share.

Their flagship product is the Tilde® noise-cancelling headphones, designed and manufactured in France, which provide technical specifications to improve well-being at work: autonomy, connectivity, audio, durability, and design. The innovation lies mainly in the anti-noise technology which is based on an algorithm to differentiate between voice and noise.

In addition, Orosound also designs headsets for other brands to raise their profile and corporate image. Currently, 15 engineers have joined Orosound and offer state-of-the-art products to meet the needs of its 300 corporate clients – mainly in France. Among the values of the start-up, the relocation of production to France (as much as possible, as some components come from abroad) was particularly important to Pierre.

“We are proud to celebrate the 6th anniversary of our company, which continues to develop rapidly, thanks in particular to the team that is committed and happy to work on beautiful products and projects,” says Pierre.
