Pink October is an annual global campaign to raise awareness of breast cancer screening and raise funds for research. Breast cancer accounts for 33% of all female cancers, and 80% of cases develop after the age of 50. However, if detected early, breast cancer can be cured in 90% of cases.
As part of this initiative, students from the association will be visiting the administration offices at Centrale and ENSCL to offer you the chance to buy roses for 2 euros. Don’t forget to bring some change! You can buy roses for yourself, your colleagues or loved ones, with or without a personalized message.
Don’t miss the Race Against Cancer, to be held on October 10, 2024 at the Léonard de Vinci and Eiffel residences, from 1:30 pm to 7 pm. During this event, you will have the opportunity to pick up your roses, or to receive them in your offices on Friday, October 11.
Dates for office visits:
- ENSCL: Monday September 30, 2pm to 4pm.
- Centrale: Wednesday October 2, 2.30 – 3.30 pm and Friday October 4, 10.30 – 11.30 am.
