The institution is once again the target of a phishing campaign (a form of internet scam) and each time it seems to be more devious and sophisticated than the last.
Fraudulent emails are currently being sent in response to “real” emails received on the @centralelille.fr mailboxes. These e-mails come from contacts with names known to the target users (for example: teaching and/or administrative staff) but with a fraudulent address. You must be particularly alert and never reply to these messages, do not click on the links, or open the attachments.
How can you tell if it is a fraudulent email? You should check the sender’s email address and not just look at the contact’s name.
