As part of the national Quality of Life at Work (QLW) week, which takes place from 19 – 23 June 2023, the Human Resources and Social Environment at Work unit is offering all staff the chance to participate in workshops on quality of life at work. These five workshops will be facilitated by professionals in the sector, with the assistance of the Institut Pasteur de Lille.
Those interested can register for up to two workshops via this online form until 26 May 2023. Note that, as the capacity of the workshops is limited to 12 participants, your registration will be confirmed as of 5 June 2023.
The workshops offered are as follows:
- “Stress management” awareness raising
20 June 2023 from 10am to 12pm
Today, stress is often seen as the negative aspect of our daily lives. Getting rid of it would be great… However, stress is also the central element of our existence. Facilitated by a sophrologist, this workshop gives participants the keys to better manage and anticipate stress. - Managing your time to manage your stress
21 June 2023, 10am – 12pm
Who hasn’t experienced the gap between what you want to do in a day and what you actually do? This gap can be a source of stress, create a feeling of incompetence and impact well-being at work. Managing your time effectively is the watchword of this practical and fun workshop, which provides the resources needed for better personal employee organisation. This workshop is facilitated by a neuropsychologist. - Improving your self-confidence
21 June 2023, 2 – 4pm
Self-confidence is a pillar of well-being at work and a fulfilling professional life. Conversely, a lack of self-confidence can block the employee in their actions and in achieving their objectives. With its theoretical and practical components, this workshop allows participants to understand the concept of self-confidence, identify their own resources and use the keys to boost their personal confidence. This workshop is facilitated by a neuropsychologist. - Boosting your memory and concentration
22 June 2023, 10am – 12pm
Given by a neuropsychologist, this workshop examines the concept of memory from both a theoretical and practical angle. Each participant can gain insight into how their memory works, how it is linked to attention and the beneficial factors influencing this ability. Memorisation techniques that can be used daily are taught through practical and fun exercises. - Sleep and you
22 June 2023, 2 – 4 pm
One in three French people claim to suffer from sleeping disorders. Led by a neuropsychologist, this workshop enables participants to understand the mechanisms of sleep, better understand what kind of sleepers they are and how to adopt favourable behaviour to sleep better.
