Congratulations to Rose-Noelle Vannier, Director of ENSCL Centrale Lille, who has just been appointed President of the Fédération Gay-Lussac (FGL).
Her appointment for a two-year term is recognition of her commitment and leadership in the field of higher education and research in chemistry and process engineering.
The priorities of his term of office will focus on a number of strategic areas, aimed at strengthening the links and collaborations between the 20 member schools of the federation:
- Articulation of the post-baccalaureate years up to the engineering degree: Rose-Noelle Vannier is committed to developing new joint courses between the chemistry and process engineering schools. The aim is to optimise students’ career paths by offering innovative programmes tailored to market needs.
- Continuation of joint educational projects: The Chair wishes to encourage collaboration between the schools by setting up innovative models such as the hybrid teaching platform. This initiative, financially supported by the ANR (Agence Nationale de la Recherche), will enable new teaching and learning methods to be explored.
- Deployment of the Décarbochim project: As part of the “Compétences et Métiers d’Avenir” call for expressions of interest, Rose-Noelle Vannier will be leading the Décarbochim project in collaboration with France Chimie and ADIUT. The aim of this project is to promote the decarbonisation of the chemical industry, an essential initiative in meeting today’s environmental challenges.
