The Centrale Lyon Challenge took place on the weekend of 18 and 19 March 2023. This sports competition brings together more than 2,000 students from the French grandes écoles (Ecoles Centrales, Ecoles des Mines, Polytechnique, etc.). 120 students from Centrale Lille made the trip. They proudly wore the institute’s colours in 14 different sports and placed 10th overall.
Centrale Lille stood out in particular in the following sports:

- Women’s basketball: 2nd place
- Men’s football: 2nd place
- Women’s football: 3rd place
- Judo <80kg: 3rd place
- Raid: 3rd place
- Climbing: 4th place
- Women’s handball: 4th place
- Spike ball: Semi-final
- Badminton: Quarter-finals
- Women’s basketball: Quarter-finals
- Petanque: Quarter-finals
- Table tennis: Quarter-finals
