As part of the “repyramiding” plan, all permanent ITRF agents may apply, regardless of their professional activity branch (BAP), to requalify their position. However, this promotion possibility mainly concerns staff who directly support research and scientific education, particularly in BAPs A, B, C, D, E and F, and, as a priority, those who perform functions higher than their job.

Staff in other BAPs who work in direct support of research and scientific education may also apply; this support must be highlighted in their applications.

For access to the IGR/IGE body

  • For access to the research engineer (IGR) body, Design Engineers with at least 7 years of actual service in their body as at 1 January 2022 may apply.
  • For access to the design engineer (IGE) body, Assistant Engineers with at least 5 years of actual service in their body as at 1 January 2022 may apply.

Applications can be downloaded from the ITRF web application between 12 pm, 16 June, and 12 pm, 13 July. They must be returned by email by 13 July, 5 pm, to the Human Resources Division ().

The institution will establish a priority ranking of the files submitted and will communicate this ranking along with the files to the ministry no later than July 22.

A national professional selection committee will be set up to examine the files submitted by the institutions. This committee will determine the list of candidates it wishes to hear. The 30-minute hearing, including a 5-minute presentation, is intended to recognise the candidate’s professional experience, his/her contribution research development or the quality of his/her teaching support.

Lastly, the selection committee will determine the list of candidates likely to be included on the list of exceptional aptitudes. The minister responsible for higher education will draw up the list of qualifications and announce the appointments. The results will thus be communicated in the second half of November 2022.

For access to the ASI (engineering assistant) body

This year, the institution did not obtain a promotion opportunity for access to this body.

For access to the Technicians body

  • Research and training technical assistants (Adjoints Techniques de Recherche et Formation – ATRFs) with at least 4 years of actual services in the body of ATRFs as at 1 January 2022 may apply.

The application must include the appendices that can be downloaded here:

  • An individual proposal form (Appendix C2)
  • A professional aptitude report (Appendix C3)
  • An activity report (Appendix C4)
  • A curriculum vitae (CV) accompanied by an organisation chart identifying the agent within the structure

Applications must be returned by email by 13 July, 5 pm, to the Human Resources department ().

The conditions for examining files are identical to those implemented in the context of the list of common law aptitudes. The institution will establish a ranking, by order of merit, of the files submitted and will communicate this ranking along with the files to the ministry no later than 26 August 2022.

The results will be published no later than 26 September 2022.
