As part of the “repyramiding” plan, all permanent ITRF agents may apply, regardless of their professional activity branch (BAP), to requalify their position. However, this promotion possibility mainly concerns staff who directly support research and scientific education, particularly in BAPs A, B, C, D, E and F, and, as a priority, those who perform functions higher than their job.
Staff in other BAPs who work in direct support of research and scientific education may also apply; this support must be highlighted in their applications.
For access to the Technicians body
- Research and training technical assistants (Adjoints Techniques de Recherche et Formation – ATRFs) with at least 4 years of actual services in the body of ATRFs as at 1 January 2022 may apply.

- A professional aptitude report (Appendix C3)
- An activity report (Appendix C4)
- A curriculum vitae (CV) accompanied by an organisation chart identifying the agent within the structure.
Applications must be returned by email by 6 February, 5 pm, to the Human Resources department ().
The conditions for examining files are identical to those implemented in the context of the list of common law aptitudes. The institution will establish a ranking, by order of merit, of the files submitted and will communicate this ranking along with the files to the ministry no later than 14 June 2023.
For access to the assistant engineer (ASI), design engineer (IGE) and research engineer (IGR) bodies within the repyramiding framework, the procedures and timetable will be communicated to you at a later date.
