Following the acquisition of STARLEAF France by ZOOM, the establishment’s video conferencing system will gradually switch to this solution.
The use of the STARLEAF solution will permanently end on 14 October 2022, whereupon all user data will be deleted. Everyone is therefore asked to ensure that all files or records are downloaded before this date, as it will no longer be possible to do so thereafter.
Starting this week, the ZOOM software solution will be gradually deployed on the computers managed by the IT resources centre. For those whose software is not automatically installed, the installation can be requested via a GLPI ticket.
Additional information will be provided next week on how to create a ZOOM account.
Video conferencing systems in specific rooms will also be updated as soon as the new equipment becomes available. In the meantime, for now, video conferencing will only be possible in the Bossut room, where a transitional system has been installed. Users are asked not to disconnect either the computer or the monitor used to ensure this transition. The reservation procedure for video conferencing in the Bossut room is still carried out via the reservation form.
