Reminder: if you have an idea for a deeptech project (high-tech products or services), now is the time to put it into practice by entering the PUI Lille innovation competition!
Who can apply?
This competition is aimed at students, PhD students, engineers and researchers attached to one of the PUI’s academic partners, and invites them to challenge their deeptech project idea. Candidates should propose a project that addresses one of the following five issues:
- Energy solutions ;
- Materials, chemistry and production systems
- Creative economy ;
- Digital technology and robotics;
- Technology and innovation in health and well-being.
The prize for the winners
A total package of up to €175,000, including:
- Financial prizes worth between €5,000 and €50,000;
- Expertise, a field of expertise and contacts with socio-economic players in the PUI’s 5 areas of intervention;
- A premium position in the support programmes offered by the support structures in partnership with the PUI’s founding members;
- A training catalogue tailored to the needs of the winners;
- Regional and national visibility.

- Applications open: 28 May 2024
- Closing date for applications: 16 September 2024
- Information relay via 5 webinars organised between June and September
- Pre-selection of 8 projects: 30 September 2024
- Creative day with local businesses to challenge the projects: 15 November 2024
- Awards ceremony for the 3 final winners: 4 December 2024 at Lille Grand Palais
- Support for the winners and shortlisted projects: January to June 2025
