The staff walking day will take place on Friday 12 July 2024 and will take us on a tour of the coastline around Bray-Dunes.
In the morning, everyone will have the opportunity to discover the biodiversity of the Fossil Dune on a 7 km loop. The bus will then take us to the Auberge de la Hooghe Moote in Ghyvelde to share a meal together.
The afternoon’s programme is free to choose: the more active can continue with a 5km walk around the Perroquet Dune, while those who wish can enjoy the sea wall and beach at Bray-Dunes.

Programme for the day:
- 7.45am: departure by bus from 4 Cantons (the meeting point will be at 7.30am)
- 9.15am: arrival at the Fossil Dune in Ghyvelde for a 7km walk. Find out more about the route here.
- 12.00 pm: lunch at the Hooghe Moote inn in Ghyvelde
- 2.30pm: bus journey to Bray-Dunes
- Walk of around 5km around the Perroquet Dune. Find out more about the route here.
