enscl prix innovation 2022

Launched in 2021, France Chimie’s Prix Jeunes pour l’Innovation (young persons’ award for innovation), supported by 10 industrial partners (Adisseo, Arkema, BASF, Elkem, Exxon, KemOne, Minakem, Seqens, Solvay, Weylchem), rewards the best innovation projects for a sustainable society led by engineering students from the 20 chemistry and process engineering schools of the Fédération Gay-Lussac.

For this year’s edition, 4 groups of ENSCL students were selected for the final. On 16 June, they presented their project via a pitch to the jury, composed of representatives from the corporate world as well as Rose-Noëlle Vannier, Director of ENSCL. Participating students also got to benefit from “mentoring” conferences and speed dating sessions during this meeting.

Among the winners, 3 second year students, Maud Blaes, Roxane Grard and Zoé Durieux, managed to win over the jury with their Caouloop project, on the theme of recycling rubbers, in particular from safety shoes. These three chemical engineer students won 3rd prize – remotely since they are presently on international internships (in Australia and Canada).
