Applications for the second edition of the participatory research awards, organised by Inrae, are open. This edition will be the first open to all ESR players and areas and to all scientific topics. Awards will reward two types of projects: “crowdsourcing” and “co-construction”. These awards are at the heart of Inrae 2030’s strategy, where one of the priorities is to place science, innovation and expertise at the heart of the Institute’s relations with society, to strengthen the impact of its research.
Applications are open until 15 September 2022 on the dedicated platform. The evaluation criteria will focus in particular on the “participation process, results and impacts of the project”. They will be adapted in line with the award category (crowdsourcing or co-construction). Each application must be accompanied by a letter from the project sponsor’s institution explaining why it supports the application for the project submitted, and providing a reasoned opinion on its scientific quality.
