The French Chemical Society has opened its annual call for applications for the Division of Industrial Chemistry (DCI) award, which will be awarded to a person who has done a remarkable job in the field of industrial chemistry, particularly in the creation or development of a new chemical company.

The prize is €1,500, along with free registration for the DCI’s next conference in 2024 (the French Industrial Chemistry Symposium, FICS).

Applications may be submitted by members of the SCF, who must prepare a file comprising:

  • a CV (2 pages maximum)
  • a summary of the work done while emphasising the innovative and industrial aspect (2 pages maximum)
  • the list of their publications, patents, etc.
  • any other document deemed relevant

Applications must be sent before 30 June 2023 (midnight) to the DCI president:
