To help applicants to the ERC-2022-StG and ERC-2022-CoG calls to prepare their application, an online exchange is organised this Tuesday 12 October 2021, from 10 am to 12 pm, to allow participants to exchange with laureates, panel members and the ERC National Contact Point.
In view of these exchanges, a pre-recorded video will soon be available online, reminding participants of the points that are important to keep in mind – and to understand well – in order to give oneself the best chances of success. The expectations and contents of the application as well as the evaluation procedures and criteria will be detailed.
For each of these two calls, the associated official documents (template, participant’s guide, etc.) are available once the call has been opened on the Call timetables and documents page.
All participants are invited to consult these documents prior to the meeting to prepare their questions, which may be asked in French or English.

Important information about the reference date for calculating the eligibility of StG and CoG applicants:
- in the calls of the ERC-WP-2022 work programme, it is as before “the date of the actual award according to the national rules of the country where the degree was awarded».
- as of the ERC-WP-2023 work programme, it will be “the date of the successful PhD defence”.
