Thanks to the world of augmented reality, Thibault Guillaumont, a 2013 graduate of ITEEM and co-founder of the start-up Holusion, has been providing professional and innovative 3D display solutions since 2014. By creating interactive holograms for hire or sale, Holusion offers innovative digital experiences and personalised support in the creation of customised solutions. These are available to all professionals mainly in three markets: the world of science and culture, the world of construction, but also the world of product marketing.
Recently, Holusion has created a holographic museum of digitised objects from the archaeological sites of Mesopotamia in order to enhance and preserve one of the most threatened cradles of civilisation in the world.

The idea for Holusion was born during a Startup Weekend – an entrepreneurial event – in 2012, when Thibault and two of his friends were able to build their first prototype, test their product and meet with incubators in the region. Since then, their offices have been located in the heart of the Plaine Images ecosystem, where they currently have 5 employees.
“Being supported by an incubator was a key element in the success of my company,” says Thibault. “From the start of the project, it is important to present ideas quickly to many people in order to make it evolve in line with the market and its needs. It is also necessary to start marketing quickly to generate turnover. The best money is the money that comes from your customers,” he adds.
