This study carried out within the BCI team of the CRIStAL laboratory aims to study a new possibility of control of an artificial system by a person.

This unpaid experiment takes place in 4 3-hour sessions (maximum) each, one to two weeks apart. All sessions take place at the Roger Salengro Hospital (CHU – Eurasanté stop on metro line 1).

During the experiment, brain activity is measured using an electroencephalogram (EEG). In addition, the participant will be fitted with vibrating stimulators on each wrist. This equipment is safe, and the vibrations are painless. During the first 3 sessions, the participant can either be equipped with extra headphones and listen to music or sit in front of a screen and follow instructions. The fourth and final session examines the whole system through two mini-games (virtual karting and a puzzle mini-game).

If you are interested in taking part in this study, recruitment is possible until February 2022.
