From this year onwards, the Collège de France will award the “Prix du Collège de France” prize to a young researcher distinguished for the excellence of his/her career and the innovative nature of his/her contributions to public research. This €20,000 prize will be awarded alternately each year in different areas: Mathematical, computer, experimental and natural sciences, or Arts, humanities and social sciences. The winner will also be invited to give a public lecture at the Collège de France.
In 2022, the theme of the prize is Biodiversity and evolution in the field of mathematical, computer, experimental and natural sciences. The jury will comprise four teachers from the Collège de France and one external member.
To apply, you must have supported your thesis within the past 7 years, and be working in a public research laboratory in France. Detailed information can be found on the Collège de France website. Applications must be submitted before 30 May 2022.
