Céline Fasulo will succeed Gilles Fleury, who has been appointed General Delegate of the Groupe des Écoles Centrale.
She graduated from the Douai École des Mines in 2003 and began her career with the Nuclear Safety Authority (ASN) as an inspector of nuclear safety and radiation protection for nuclear reactors. In 2007, she joined the Nuclear Pressure Equipment Directorate (ESPN) of the ASN in Dijon where she was responsible for controlling the design and manufacture of the main pressure equipment of nuclear reactors. In 2011, she went on to work for the Regional Directorate for Environment, Development and Housing (DREAL) as an inspector of facilities classified for environmental protection, in charge of inspecting SEVESO sites in the field of explosives and liquefied gas and petrol. In 2015, Céline Fasulo was appointed head of the ESPN manufacturing control office at the ASN in Dijon.
After her success in the Corps des Mines competition in 2017, she decided to enter higher education and research, and was appointed Deputy Director of IMT Nord Europe. After 4 years in which she oversaw the school’s strategy and objectives, led projects in regional and national networks, worked on economic partnerships or served as interim director of the Centre for Teaching, Research and Innovation in Digital Systems, she joined Centrale Lille as Deputy Director of the École Centrale de Lille. She will take up her duties at the École Centrale on 1 September 2022.
