Noil, co-founded by Raphaël Setbon, a 2018 graduate of Ecole Centrale de Lille, received the Trophée de l’économie verte (Green economy award) in the “Travel Management” category, at the ceremony organised by the Établissement public territorial Est Ensemble, Grand Paris. These awards encourage the economic fabric’s players to engage more in the ecological transition by highlighting the wealth and diversity of initiatives undertaken by economic players.
On 16 March, 4 economic players from across the region were honoured for their commitment to sustainable development. The region’s exemplary environmental companies were also recompensed with a €5,000 grant.
Noil was created in 2019 to offer an innovative solution for converting combustion-powered motor bicycles and tricycles into 100% electric vehicles. By the end of 2021, the company had raised €1.5 million for its development.
