Centrale Lille Institut is pleased to announce the appointment of Denis Chevé as Chairman of the Board of ENSCL (École Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Lille), following the meeting held on June 3.

A graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique and the Mines de Paris engineering school, Denis Chevé has a wealth of experience in the industrial sector. He began his career with the Pechiney group before joining Manoir Industrie, where he managed the US subsidiary Manoir Electroalloys. He subsequently held senior positions at Métaleurop Nord, Cegelec and Farinia.

In 2010, Denis Chevé took over the management of BEFESA Valera France, a subsidiary of the German-Spanish group Befesa, specialising in the treatment and recycling of zinc dust. He is also CEO of BEFESA Valera Stainless Steel Recycling, which brings together all recycling activities for stainless steel mill residues.

As President of France Nord Pas de Calais, Denis Chevé brings with him valuable expertise and a strategic vision that will greatly benefit ENSCL. His appointment marks an important step for the in-house school, reinforcing its commitment to academic and industrial excellence.
