Following on from the various HR measures provided for in the LPR (research programming law) and the memorandum of understanding relating to the careers and remuneration of research staff of 12 October 2020, a new “repyramiding” system has just been put in place for the benefit of ITRF staff. This “repyramiding” plan will serve to reclassify 4,650 jobs in all professional activity branches (BAPs) that contribute to the development of research or jobs in BAPs A, B, C and D in teaching support functions: 2,500 jobs from category C to category B; 1,450 jobs from category B to assistant engineers (ASI level); 600 ASI jobs to design engineers (IGE); 100 IGE jobs to research engineers.
This “repyramiding” will take place from 2022 to 2026 and will accommodate different methods of implementation depending on the body.
- For access to research engineer (IGE) and design engineer (IGR) bodies, a professional selection will be implemented with an initial internal selection stage based on a file, then a hearing.
- For access to the engineering assistant (ASI) body, a professional examination is planned on the basis of a quota allocated to the establishment. No promotion opportunities have been granted to the institution for 2022.
- For access to technician bodies, an exceptional list of aptitudes will be established.
The application procedures will be specified according to the deployment schedules.
