A PhD student at Centrale Lille in the Solid State Catalysis and Chemistry Unit (UCCS), Jordan Bassetti has made it to the regional final of the “My Thesis in 180 seconds” competition, due to take place on 22 March at Université de Picardie Jules Verne.

The challenge for him will be to pitch his research topic, entitled “Synthesis and characterisation of composites to incorporate hydrolysable fluids in immobilization matrices” in 3 minutes in the form of a clear, concise yet convincing presentation, supported by a single slide!

You can follow the ceremony online and support Jordan by voting for him via this site (free and compulsory advance registration). Ultimately, two people will be selected: one for the jury prize and one for the public prize.
