As part of an inspiring initiative, eight engineering students from ITEEM took off for Moldova on 27 April on a humanitarian mission that promises to bring comfort and hope. Their objective? To help build a “house of comfort” for women refugees.

In building this house, our students have set themselves the task of providing a safe, warm space for Ukrainian and Moldovan refugee women, who often find themselves destitute and vulnerable in conflict situations. But their commitment goes beyond simply building the material. As well as building the house, they plan to provide invaluable psychological support and share moments of joy with the villagers and children.
