The 3rd edition of the EKIDEN will take place at the Haute Borne on Sunday 10 October from 10 am.

An Ekiden relay is a Japanese road race for teams of six competitors. The traditional distance is the marathon (42.195 km). The six runners must cover the following distances: 5 km, 10 km, 5 km, 10 km, 5 km and finally 7.195 km.

For this 3rd edition, Centrale Lille will enter 4 teams composed of both students and staff (6 runners per team). If you wish to participate, you can register by email to Carole Herchuelz before Monday 13 September 2021. You will need to provide the following details:

  • Medical certificate authorising competitive running
  • Date and place of birth
  • Telephone number
  • Health pass
  • Distance you wish to run (5 or 10 km)

For information, 10% of the registration fees are donated to the Les Clowns de l’Espoir association.
