As part of the HR process’s quality and continuous improvement approach, the quality working group worked on formalising the “Managing staff departures at Centrale Lille” process. Particular emphasis was placed on the detailed departure preparations in the “Preparing for my departure” memo sheet, returning hardware and equipment, and the support provided by the manager and the HR department throughout the process.

This new process synchronises the activities of various internal departments in order to rectify any anomalies that may be identified by the parties involved (a lack of information on departures and of organisational instructions, looking for hardware and equipment not returned, etc.). While the importance of these activities is essential for the entire process to run smoothly, the role of the manager and the HR department remains a crucial component for guaranteeing the process’s quality.
