Centrale Lille staff involved in the European project – teaching researchers, technicians, members of the RIA unit – are continuing their work. Here are the latest updates on this original initiative.
- In December 2021, the project was the subject of a workshop at the AMCSTI (Association of Museums and Centres for the Development of Scientific, Technical and Industrial Culture) conference held in Lyon, as well as an article in AMCSTI bulletin no. 49 entitled “Essentials” which will be published very soon.
- In February 2022, the 12 European partners of Geeks for Education met in Patras in Greece for workshops on the project’s intellectual productions. This face-to-face meeting served to strengthen the ties between all the players.
- In May 2022, Centrale Lille will host around thirty participants from the seven countries represented in the project (France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Hungary and Luxembourg) for a Joint Staff Training Week from 2 – 6 May. This pivotal moment for Geeks for Education will give participants the opportunity to test and evaluate the pedagogical practices selected by each country before their implementation in primary and secondary school classes during 2022-2023.
