In order to encourage and initiate new research-innovation collaborations between research laboratories and companies, the Pôle Universitaire d’Innovation – PUI is setting up a new scheme to fund internships for final-year masters and engineering students.
The aim of this scheme is to increase the number of doctoral students working with companies through public-private doctoral contracts, particularly of the ‘CIFRE’ type.
As part of the research team, the trainee will work closely with the company on the preliminary research phase (state of the art, initial work to remove scientific and technological barriers, project feasibility tests, preparation of the research topic for the future thesis, etc.).
At the end of the internship, if the doctoral project has been validated and if the players involved in the project are in agreement, PUI Lille will support you in your efforts to encourage further collaboration, in particular through a CIFRE-type doctoral contract.
Who can apply?
Students/engineers looking for an M2 internship and Centrale Lille Institut researchers and lecturers.
Funding and terms of the internship
The PUI will fund the intern’s remuneration at the maximum hourly rate stipulated by law. Unsubsidised environmental costs may be financed by the company. A simplified collaboration contract will be drawn up between the establishment and the company.
Length of placement: 5 to 6 months
Eligibility of the application: involvement of a company (start-up, VSE, SME, ETI) and the quality and organisation of the laboratory-company partnership.
