Starting the week of 17 May, kits of 5 COVID-19 self-tests on nasal sampling were available to students and staff who wish to do so.

The aim is for everyone to be able to test themselves once a week, the day before or the morning of their first visit of the week in the school, to self-monitor. These kits constitute a new diagnostic offer and will allow to gradually resume activities and teaching in the best sanitary conditions. They complement the individual and on-demand screening offer (by rapid antigenic tests or RT-PCR) implemented as part of the “Test-Alert-Protect” (TAP) strategy deployed by the institution.

Self-tests can be used in asymptomatic people over the age of 15. They are carried out with the help of a suitable swab that is gently inserted two to three centimetres against the lining of each nostril. This sample is not as deep as the nasopharyngeal sample. It is therefore easier to use and has a better acceptability, enabling repeated testing. This test can be performed at home and results are available within fifteen to twenty minutes according to the instructions.

Each box contains 5 tests and instructions for use. These tests should not be used if you have symptoms and if you are a contact case: then you must take a PCR test.

For those who did not obtain their self-test kit, they will be distributed on new opening hours are as follows:
