Promoting access to higher education for young people from modest backgrounds and enabling them to obtain a diploma that matches their potential in the career path they have chosen: this is the objective of the Une Grande École: Why Not Me? (PQPM).

This equal opportunity system, which is part of the “Cordées de la Réussite” scheme, supports secondary school students from “la seconde” to “la terminale” (15–18-year-olds) based on student tutoring.

In this context, Centrale Lille welcomed the new secondary school students enrolled in the programme at an opening ceremony on Thursday 12 January 2023. This was also an opportunity to bring together all involved: secondary school students and their families, student tutors, mentor teachers and secondary school principals.
