The International Aviation Women’s Association (IAWA) works for women’s careers and opportunities in aeronautics and offers an academic scholarship to 5 students from around the world, from one of IAWA’s partner universities, who are dedicated to working in aeronautics.
Léane Mahé, a student at Ecole Centrale Lille, currently in a gap year at the University of Cranfield (UK) is one of the 2021 winners to have been awarded a $5,000 scholarship. To apply for the IAWA scholarship, each student must present the university and the values of the IAWA association.
Leane chose to go to the University of Cranfield to “complete the general engineering training of the Ecole Centrale Lille, with a specialty in aerospace, an area that I am passionate about”. Check out the presentation video that helped her win the scholarship.
