Centrale Lille has won the first edition of the French Mixed Volleyball Cup for Engineering Schools, organised by the ASEI (Association Sportive des Écoles d’Ingénieurs) and the FFSU, on 1 and 2 June 2024!
This national competition, equivalent to the Saint-Gobain for football but dedicated to volleyball, stands out for its mixed format, requiring the presence of at least two girls and two boys on the court among the six players.
Centrale Lille triumphed in the qualifying rounds in Lille and Metz, before qualifying for the Final 6 in Valenciennes. The Centrale Lille team, made up of 10 members – 7 Centraliens and 3 Chimistes – demonstrated a fighting spirit and exemplary cohesion throughout the competition. Well done to them!
