The Maker Faire Lille is a festival for innovation and creativity, the 4th edition of which will take place at the Gare Saint Sauveur in Lille from 14 – 16 October 2022. This general-public event is free, and will welcome 600 “makers” eager to share their desire to create, manufacture, redefine, repair, etc.
This year, the Maker Faire has chosen to focus on sustainable housing and the circular economy, with a whole host of ingenious and useful projects, workshops and instructive pitches.
Centrale Lille will be present through two projects:
- The Fabricar3v European project which, among others, proposes metal 3D printing for new sociologies such as Makers, VSEs, SMEs, Fablabs and third places.
- For more information, contact Jean-François Witz.
- The low-tech approach adopted at Centrale Lille to co-develop solutions that can be easily used, as well as being sustainable, makeable and repairable by residents.
- For more information, contact Alexandre Mège-Revil.
Feel free to visit the Maker Faire. A detailed programme is available online.
