To mark International Women’s Rights Day, the Institute’s students worked with the Pain’Gouin association to organise a breakfast event. The event took place on the premises of Centrale Lille, ENSCL and ITEEM.
The aim of the event? To collect donations for the fight for women’s rights and raise awareness in the community. For every breakfast purchased, a ribbon to hang on clothing was offered.
Thanks to everyone’s generosity, a total of €210.49 was raised on the day. These funds will be donated in full to the feminist collective NousToutes, which is working to put an end to sexist and sexual violence. NousToutes aims to promote effective public policies against gender-based and sexual violence, both in terms of budget and methods. The collective is also committed to raising public awareness through communication, training and education initiatives.
