The Innovation and Technology Transfer Support Fund (Fonds d’Aide aux Actions d’Innovation et de Valorisation – FAVI) supports the development of innovative projects within Centrale Lille Institut.

This call for projects is aimed at students, PhD candidates, faculty, and researchers through two distinct tracks:

  • Student track (shared via the student newsletter Point Actu’): funding up to €5,000 incl. VAT;
  • PhD candidate, researcher, and faculty track: funding up to €5,000 incl. VAT (this framework is currently being updated).

Schedule

  • Application deadline: October 9, 2026, at 12:00 PM;
  • FAVI committee oral presentation: Tuesday, October 13, 2026, morning.

Selected candidates will receive an email specifying their presentation slot.

The presentation will consist of a 10-minute pitch, followed by a Q&A session with the committee members.

Future FAVI sessions for 2026 will be announced in Le Point Com’ for PhD candidates, researchers, and faculty, and in Le Point Actu’ for students.

For PhD candidates and faculty, the FAVI acts as a complementary funding tool alongside other pre-maturation resources available. Full information regarding pre-maturation funding can be obtained from the Research, Innovation, and Technology Transfer Department (Direction de la Recherche, de la Valorisation et de l’Innovation – DRVI) or from your laboratory innovation representative (SHAKER network).

These requests can be submitted even outside official call-for-projects periods. A dedicated committee will then be convened specifically to review these applications.
