Creation of the Ethics Committee and updated procedure for secondary professional activities

Following the decision of the Board of Directors on October 24, 2025, an Ethics Committee (Commission de déontologie) has been established at Centrale Lille, updating the procedure for requesting authorization to engage in a secondary professional activity (activité accessoire).

Who is concerned?

At minimum, public employees (civil servants and contract staff) working full-time or at more than 70% of full-time working hours at Centrale Lille who carry out an additional lucrative or non-lucrative activity for a public or private organization (Articles L. 123-7 and R. 123-1 et seq. of the French General Civil Service Code / Code général de la fonction publique).
