Since last July, the Vigipirate plan nomenclature and visuals have changed. Our institution is now at the “enhanced vigilance” (vigilance renforcée) level, replacing “attack emergency” (urgence attentat).

This level reflects a major and lasting terrorist threat, maintaining current security guidelines:

  • Gatherings: restriction or prohibition of public indoor events within the establishment.

  • Events: systematic registration and monitoring of all events on site via the intranet portal (Mes Services) or the student association portal (Ma vie étudiante), particularly for events open to external guests.

  • Vigilance: everyone is requested to remain vigilant and ensure non-identified external individuals are not granted unmonitored access, particularly by reception staff.

  • Visitors: mandatory identity check at the entrance for all visitors outside Centrale Lille (visual bag checks may be conducted during specific authorized events).

  • Reporting: mandatory and immediate reporting of any suspicious behavior or object, inside or around campus surroundings, to the reception staff or management.

  • Access points: closure or restriction of secondary entry points across all Centrale Lille sites. Staff, visitors, and students are asked to use main building entrances.

  • Parking restrictions: access to the visitors’ parking lot on the “Fonderie” side of the 4 Cantons site (entrance via Boulevard Paul Langevin) is restricted to staff (including hosted personnel), students, and deliveries.

Emergency response guidelines can be consulted on the intranet (Mes Services > J’ai besoin de > Gérer une situation d’urgence) or on the Ma vie étudiante application under the Security section.
