As announced by Thomas Maurer, the two internal schools, ITEEM and IG2I, will become post-baccalaureate programs of École Centrale de Lille effective September 1, 2027, in accordance with the decree of July 23, 2026, published in the Official Journal on August 7, 2026.
Students enrolled in these programs will now graduate from École Centrale de Lille with a mention of their specialization. Details regarding application procedures via Parcoursup for the upcoming academic year will be specified in early 2027.
This institutional development will also lead to organizational changes over the coming months, which will be detailed in early 2027. In parallel, teams have begun working on the curriculum design for the various programs to explore opportunities for course hybridization, leveraging best practices and feedback in engineering management, industrial engineering, and computer science.
Until August 31, 2026, Eric Daniel serves as Director of ITEEM, and Antoine Bruyère as Director of IG2I.
This institutional evolution is part of the implementation of the IMPACT 2035 strategic plan. Drawing on recommendations from the CTI and HCERES, it aligns with the institute’s threefold commitment: consolidating its shared identity, enhancing the visibility and legibility of the Centrale Lille brand, and continuing to enrich its graduate and post-graduate programs through course hybridization.
