For several years now, Centrale Lille has been implementing a policy of waiving tuition fees for its students, irrespective of nationality or course of study. The aim is to offer support to students experiencing personal or family difficulties by granting them a total or partial exemption from tuition fees.
As part of the quality and Public Services+ initiatives, the ‘Managing refunds of tuition fees’ process has been optimised and formalised by a cross-disciplinary working group comprising the Registrar’s Office, the Finance Department, the Accounting Department, the PRI, the Training Support Department and the Quality Department. This process enables some sixty requests for student reimbursements to be processed each year, with the main expectation being that they will be processed within a certain time.
To meet this challenge, a joint interdepartmental timetable has been drawn up, providing for 4 refund campaigns per year, with the first beginning on 5 September 2024. Initially, the aim is to be able to make reimbursements for all justified claims submitted during each campaign.
