The fourth edition of StarTonic, bringing together students and speakers from Centrale Lille, SKEMA Business School and Arts et Métiers, took place on 22, 23 and 24 March in the historic premises of the school, formerly known as IDN, and now home to Arts et Métiers. These walls, which have seen generations of students come and go, were the setting for three days of intensive activity.
The gathering brought together students from a wide range of backgrounds, creating a melting pot of skills and perspectives. The aim? To stimulate innovation and encourage the creation of ground-breaking projects through a programme :
Participants benefited from targeted educational capsules, enabling them to fine-tune their value proposition, develop relevant offerings and build viable business models. Coaching workshops were also organised to help these young entrepreneurs refine their strategies.
The event closed with presentations to a panel of expert judges, where eight start-ups were given the opportunity to demonstrate their potential.
Impulse: At the heart of this weekend of entrepreneurship.
Students from IG2I’s IMPULSE association played a crucial role in this event, contributing their technical expertise and working closely with business profiles to bring start-up projects to fruition. Tom Telier-Calonne, a member of the association, underlines the importance of this synergy: “What we really enjoyed was meeting people who were passionate about what they do… The organisation of the weekend was perfect, with each day enriched by a variety of speakers”.
Event Wishes: Project presented at StarTonic.
Among the many projects, ITEEM student Arthur Zolfaghari’s EVENT WISHES initiative brilliantly represented Centrale Lille’s spirit of innovation. His project, which initially focused on tools for wedding planners, evolved thanks to the interaction and challenges generated over the weekend.
Thank you to all the participants, organisers and speakers who made this year’s event such a resounding success.
