On Thursday 28 March, the 2024 Doctoral Ceremony was held in the magnificent Nouveau Siècle hall in Lille, organised jointly by the University of Lille and ITM Nord Europe. The event was an opportunity to celebrate the remarkable careers of our 42 doctors who defended their theses in 2023. Their achievements are the result of unfailing determination and a passion for research.
One of the highlights of the day was the speech by Philippe Pernod, Deputy Director of Research and Innovation at Centrale Lille, who emphasised the importance of our researchers’ contribution to the advancement of knowledge and society as a whole.
