Year 5 ITEEM students in the Innovation and Digital Transformation course are organizing a conference open to students and staff, entitled “Pour un numérique réellement responsable, repensons nos modèles économiques” (“For a truly responsible digital world, let’s rethink our business models”). The conference will take place on Tuesday January 30, from 12.15 pm to 1.15 pm in the Cuccaroni amphitheater. A sandwich sale is planned.
Very often, when we talk about reducing the negative impacts of digital technology, we come up against a glass ceiling. We remain within a logic of optimizing what already exists: optimizing the user experience, technical optimization, architecture optimization…
The aim of this conference is to identify how the economic model of organizations needs to change to take account of environmental and social externalities. In this way, each and every one of you will be able to take action for a truly responsible digital world, far from green washing.
As an introduction, the speakers will review the environmental and social impacts of digital technology. They will then introduce key concepts to understand the economic model of functionality and cooperation. Finally, there will be 2 case studies to illustrate a real-life experience with an organization.
The speakers are :
– Margaux Escande, Responsible Digital Consultant
– Sebastien Boucq, Specialist in sustainable development and new business models
– Anthony Lecerf, founder of the IT’s on us collective.
– Benjamin Dequvillier, founder of Les Fabricants.
