ENSCL’s Sustainable Development unit undertook a number of actions during Sustainable Development Week, from 20 to 24 November 2023.
Lectures were given on the theme of “Responsible chemistry at the heart of everyday life”, and a fund-raising event was organised. 15 kg of food, 4 bags of clothes and 1 box of hygiene products were collected.
Participants could also write a letter to an elderly person, which was then sent to the “1 Lettre 1 Sourire” (1 Letter 1 Smile) association then forwarded to an EHPAD old people’s home.
A clean-walk was also held on Thursday afternoon, where all kinds of waste was collected: plastic sheeting, glass bottles, car seats, leather bags, etc.
