Initiated by the European Commission, the European Human Resources Strategy for researchers (HRS4R) aims to improve the working conditions of research staff and the recruitment methods applied in establishments.
The strategy is based on two documents: the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of conduct for the recruitment of researchers.
Establishments that undertake to develop an HR policy in accordance with the 40 principles set out in these two texts become HR Excellence in Research certified.
In the scope of its strategy to “Strengthen the international positioning” and the roll-out of its quality approach, Centrale Lille has initiated the certification application process by filing a letter of intent, i.e. the first step in the process.
The next step will be to define the project quality charter before launching the working groups concerned. The aim is to submit the action plan that will enable the institution to be certified in July 2023.
