Writing a thesis is an important editorial exercise that is not always easy to approach. Beyond the scientific constraints, sometimes the finer points of writing can be complicated. To facilitate this task, information and resources are available to doctoral students.
First of all, the Centrale Lille thesis guide lists all the aspects to be taken into account when writing: pagination, numbering, bilingual summary. At the end of this guide, interested persons will be able to find template pages (first page, last page) which are included in a directly editable version in the ENT Doctoral Thesis Defence tab.
If the thesis is funded by a European programme or by the Region, specific guidelines may need to be followed. Communication guides are available in the same folder on the ENT. If you are a doctoral student and are writing your thesis, do not hesitate to contact your funder to ensure that their requests are met! If you need to find out more, you should also consult the ABES Doctoral Student Guide.
The contact person at Centrale Lille, in charge of the procedures for indexing the thesis, and signing the distribution and archiving contract, is Salima Halitim.
For doctoral students who want to print copies of their thesis, the reprographics request must be sent to within 7 to 10 days before the copies can be collected. This service is free.
Finally, to sign the dissertation, we invite you to consult the single signature charter for scientific publications at Centrale Lille.
